Sea Global are currently working with one of the UKs leading education providers, who are currently in an exciting period of growth.

With a now established procurement function, they are looking to recruit a Procurement Manager focusing primarily on the indirect categories across the business including IT, Facilities, Corporate Services, and more. The role will report directly into the Head of Procurement and will have overall category remit across selected Indirect spend areas.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Report and work closely with the Head of Procurement
  • Make sure indirect spend categories are both compliant and cost-effective
  • End to end procurement, sourcing and supplier relationship management
  • Negotiate with suppliers to ensure best commercial terms and the adherence to conditions where possible

Experience & Requirements

  • Ideally will have experience within a similar role within an Education or Care background but this is not essential
  • Will need to be analytical, dynamic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Should be comfortable speaking with both suppliers and stakeholders
  • Organised, is a self starter and can prioritise deadlines
