The position of Sales Engineer will suit an experienced account manager/salesperson with the technical ability to meet the needs and find solutions for their customer.

The company which develops, manufactures and niche technological and scientific products seek an experienced Sales Engineer to utilise their technical expertise and sales skills to understand customer needs, present technical solutions, and ultimately drive sales by providing in-depth product knowledge.

  • The role of Sales Engineer is a full-time (Monday -Friday) permanent position.
  • Annual salary DOE, quarterly sales bonuses, car allowance, mileage etc.
  • Other perks include: company pension, private medical insurance, 25 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holidays.
  • Your patch includes the North West - Runcorn across to Grimsby, and part of Scotland. This is a fully remote role which incorporates an average of 4 days visiting clients across your area.

As Sales Engineer you will have overall responsibility and ownership of managing key accounts and new accounts.

  • Account management and customer consultation, engaging with clients to understand their technical needs and offering solutions
  • Building strong customer relationships to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Technical Support and providing pre-sales and post-sales support
  • Conducting technical demonstrations to your customers and providing product consultations
  • Product support to customers and distributors within your area
  • Managing the sales process from initial inquiry through to final delivery, including negotiating contracts and closing deals
  • Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company databases

We seek a highly self-motivated and passionate individual with outstanding communication and listening skills. Essentially you will have a technical mind-set with the ability to learn new products and the confidence to find the right solution. You will need a proven background in sales and account management, ideally within a chemistry related/engineering or mechanical bias.
