A vibrant and inclusive primary school, dedicated to nurturing young minds and creating a supportive environment for both staff and students are seeking a part-time Higher-Level Teaching Assistant. They are looking for a passionate and experienced HLTA to join our team, supporting Early Years and KS1 pupils in achieving their full potential.

Role Responsibilities

As an HLTA, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Provide support to pupils in Early Years and KS1, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Assist with classroom management and the preparation of learning materials.
  • Lead small group interventions to enhance pupil progress.
  • Cover classes in the absence of the teacher when required.
  • Support the implementation of the school curriculum and learning strategies.
  • Provide feedback to teachers and contribute to assessments.
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who:

  • Holds at least a level 4 TA qualification or teaching qualification
  • Has experience working with Early Years and KS1 children.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Is adaptable, proactive, and works well as part of a team.
  • Has a strong understanding of child development and the Early Years/KS1 curriculum.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
