Role and Responsibilities:

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant in EYFS, you will:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative lessons tailored to the EYFS curriculum.
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to children, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help monitor and record children's progress and share insights with the team and parents.
  • Promote positive behaviour, social interaction, and emotional well-being.
  • Contribute to the preparation of resources and the organization of the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working within an EYFS setting.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, positive, and patient approach to working with children.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children (subject to an enhanced DBS check).
