Due to continued success and company growth, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer from a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background ideally within the print, packaging, pharmaceutical, or food industry. This is a home-based role with extensive UK travel staying away potentially 4 nights a week all paid for by the company. Field Service Engineer Main Responsibilities:
  • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
  • Team Work: Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals.
  • Personal Effectiveness: Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Service, Maintenance, and Repairs: Conduct service, maintenance, and repair work on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Technical Competence: Apply technical knowledge and expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to varying work schedules and travel requirements.
  • Administration: Complete necessary administrative tasks accurately and on time.
The successful Field Service Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
  • HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience or willingness to work as a Field Service Engineer
  • Full UK driver's license
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Willingness and availability for extensive travel across the UK, Ireland and Europe
