Are you seeking a new opportunity as a Team Leader working Nights? Do you want to be part of a collaborative team who work to provide the highest quality of care to vulnerable adults and older people with dementia?

Working for an established and reputable provider of care we're seeking a Team Leader to join their team at their luxurious and spacious 67 bedded care home in Lancaster. Based over a 42 hour week this permanent opportunity will include:

The role:

  • To oversee and be responsible for running the shifts across 3 floors ensuring that the smooth running of the shifts take place and delivering the best support to the staff teams
  • Working on a night shift 20.00-08.00am you will be supporting the teams, co-coordinating the medication support and deliver and dealing with handovers on shift. Working on a rolling 2 week rota.
  • To be accountable for the quality of care, ensure compliance within all internal polices and procedures
  • Act as a role model for the team and be an ambassador for the organisation leading on any effective implementation of the company values and strategies
  • Staff performance and ensure all team members have the required training necessary
  • Support the manager of the service where needed, and attend any meetings, liaise with other professionals and colleagues.

The ideal candidate:

  • Ideally you will have worked in a similar setting and have worked in a leadership role, supporting teams
  • You will be familiar with supporting adults and older people with dementia and have worked on Night shifts being flexible for working on a rota system.
  • You will hold your Level 3 in H&SC or equivalent and be willing to accept any additional training where needed
  • You will be flexible, and with a positive and solution driven approach to your work together with experience of and understanding of medication administration and awareness. Your leadership skills will be strong and your ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, managers and external professionals.
