Behaviour Support Worker - Preston:
Prospero Teaching are currently looking for a calm and resilient behaviour support worker to join a lovely school in the Preston area.
The Role:
- Offering individualised support to children with SEN and SEMH needs
- Collaborating with the class teachers, and external agencies to monitor progress
- Support pupils with Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviours
Position Details:
- Location: Preston
- Position: Behaviour Support Worker
- Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm, Mon-Fri
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: 105 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- A Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification is desired
- Revelant experience of supporting SEN and SEMH
- Resilience and adaptability in supporting student's learning and wellbeing
- Team Teach training would be highly desired
ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
