LSA - Lancaster:
Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join the team at an excellent primary school near Lancaster. You will be providing learning support to pupils. Ideally, you will have previous experience supporting children with SEN.
Some pupils may present challenging behaviour and so candidates must feel confident in this environment.
THE ROLE:
- Location: Lancaster
- Position: Learning Support Assistant
- Hours: 9am-3:15pm (term time only)
- Type: Full time only
- Minimum rate of pay: £90
- Start date: Jan 2025
- End date: Ongoing
- Contract type: Temporary
EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
- Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
- Experience of effectively and positively managing behaviour.
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but training can be provided).
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
