Learning Support Assistant

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to provide invaluable support to students within a Secondary SEN school environment. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be instrumental in aiding students to reach their full potential through individualised and small group assistance.

Day to day of the role:

  • Offer targeted individual and small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist teachers in the development and execution of lesson plans.
  • Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Support student learning and monitor progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and fellow teachers to promote student achievement.
  • Help administer assessments and tests, ensuring a supportive testing environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
  • The ability to connect with students from diverse ages, backgrounds, and learning abilities.
