SEN TA - Lancaster

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join one of our schools in the Lancaster area. You will be supporting children in small groups and on a 1-1 basis. This role is to start ASAP and will be temp-perm for the right candidate. The successful candidate will have previous experience supporting SEN within a school setting.

  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience

EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
  • Experience of effectively and positively managing behaviour.
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but training can be provided).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
