Salary: 92 - 120 per day

About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our dynamic team at a well-established secondary school in Lancashire. In this rewarding role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting students in overcoming behavioural challenges, building emotional resilience, and fostering positive learning attitudes. You'll collaborate closely with both staff and students to create an inclusive, encouraging, and supportive environment that empowers every student to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group support to students facing behavioural challenges, helping them to thrive.
Collaborate with teachers and the SENCO to develop and implement personalised behaviour plans.
Assist the pastoral team in embedding positive behaviour strategies throughout the school.
Support students in managing emotions, building resilience, and enhancing social skills.
Help create a calm, inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Track and monitor student progress, providing regular updates to staff and parents.
Foster trusting relationships with students, promoting motivation, respect, and emotional wellbeing.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience working with young people, preferably in a secondary school setting.
Strong knowledge of behavioural management techniques and strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A genuine passion for supporting young people's emotional and social development.
