Description

The position of Lead Planner will be responsible for:

  • Oversee the procurement and supply chain operations
  • Implement effective plans to optimise efficiency and productivity
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Monitor and report on supply chain performance
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Lead and mentor a team of planners

Profile

A successful Lead Planner should have:

  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Proven experience in an FMCG procurement and supply chain environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities
  • Thorough understanding of supply chain processes and regulations
  • Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience of systems implementations would be highly beneficial
