A long stand popular client based in the Lancing area is looking to bolster the finance team by recruiting a full time permanent Assistant Accountant.

Description

As Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for:

Preparing and entering journals into the system
Process supplier and expense payments
Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
Monitoring credit and chasing debt.
Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties
Managing finance portals with lenders
Supporting VAT return processing

Profile

Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately
Analytical thinker and problem solver
Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software
High level of accuracy
Organised
