Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant needed for School in Lancing

Engage Education is currently working with a Complex Needs provision in Lancing who support children with language difficulties in Year 4 with Complex Needs. If you’re caring and patient and are looking to be welcomed into a supportive SEND schooling environment, then please apply.
This school is a total communication environment. This means they utilise a range of approaches that enable their pupils to succeed in their development of their communication skills. All of their staff, including those in non-child facing roles, are trained in sign-supported English.
About the role
- Have experience or a passion to work with children with complex needs
- Be confident in managing behaviour
- Be able to demonstrate your ability to build professional relationships with children
- Be able to support children who might be non-verbal, and have difficulty communicating
- Have a fun but firm presence
- Hold a UK driving licence and own a car
