Tool Designer - West Sussex - up to 45,000 + Benefits - Ref 1807
I am currently recruiting for a Tool Designer to work for a key client of mine based in West Sussex. Salary up to 45,000 + Benefits.
The organisation has been in operation for over 20 years with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries including Hygiene, Aerospace, Lighting & Marine.
To support growth within the organisation they are now looking to appoint a Tool Designer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Tool Designer, your primary responsibility will be to adapt and design new tools specifically for Plastic Injection Moulding machines. You will be working as part of a team of 12 in the tool room where you will be adapting historical designs to all for additional features of their of their clients products. As part of the role, you will also create & adapt BOMS & picking lists to match the new designs. The tools you will be working on will range in size from anywhere between 50KG through to 2 Tonnes in weight.
Ideal Requirements:
- A minimum 5 Years experience as a Tool Designer
- Designed tools for Plastic Injection Moulding
- SolidWorks experience
