The school is renowned for its vibrant community and its commitment to fostering respect, enjoyment, and achievement amongst its students.Location: WorthingContract Duration: 23rd April 2025 to 23rd May 2025Working Days: Wednesday, Thursday, and FridayJob Description:We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics instruction to secondary school students, ensuring full planning and marking responsibilities are met.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Assess and mark students' work, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development.
- Maintain accurate records of students' progress and achievements.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the department.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to undergo a new one.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
