Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Lancing
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)

Key Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 and group support for children with SEN in the classroom.
- Assist the class teacher with personalized learning plans designed for each child's needs.
- Help children build social and emotional skills, ensuring their well-being is prioritised.
- Make learning accessible and enjoyable by tailoring academic tasks.
- Maintain a nurturing, safe, and positive learning environment.
- Collaborate closely with the SENCO, other teaching staff, and the wider school team.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.
- A strong passion for working with children with SEN.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Patience, adaptability, and a caring nature.
- Relevant qualifications or a willingness to undergo training for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant.
