The Opportunity:

They're seeking a dedicated SEN Food Technology Teacher to make a significant impact on their students' educational journeys. In this role, you will deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons, guiding students toward achieving their qualifications and enhancing their learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for SEN/ASD learners.
  • Develop and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Customise resources to ensure every student has equal access to education.
  • Provide constructive feedback to facilitate student progress and achievement.
  • Support students in developing essential skills, including Maths, English, and life skills.
  • Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Create and execute lesson plans in line with DFE guidelines and school policies.
  • Regularly assess student progress and set realistic goals to help them reach their full potential.
  • Uphold school policies related to safeguarding, equality, and student welfare.
