Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support for students with special educational needs.
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering tailored educational programs and interventions.
- Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with personal care and mobility where required.
- Foster students' social and emotional development through encouragement and guidance.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is essential.
- A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
