HGV Class 2 Driver

Our client is one of the UK's largest independent surfacing contractors, delivering bespoke surfacing solutions across a wide range of industries nationwide and throughout the UK.

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work as part of our Logistic team reliable and skilled Multi-Drop Fuel Driver to join our dedicated team and support our operations. Working hours will be 10 hours a day.

Role Responsibilities:

• Delivering ordered materials to job sites, manage delivery schedules, and ensure materials are handled safely.
• Loading and unload materials carefully to prevent damage.
• Conducting pre- and post-delivery vehicle inspections, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
• Communicating with site managers prior to or during deliveries to confirm specifications and resolve any issues.
• Keeping accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any discrepancies.
• Manage stock levels at the depot to minimize the amount of inventory on hand.
• Ensure the company’s duty of care is upheld for all waste streams returned and/or generated at the depot.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a class 2 Licence
• A valid Driver CPC
• A clean driving Licence
• Strong communication skills
