Mobile Commercial Gas EngineerÂ
Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a leading HVAC Company based in Keele.
Due to expansion they are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to handle the service, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances in both commercial and domestic properties.
You will provide high levels of first-time fixes and excellent customer care, ensuring compliance with gas safety regulations and company standards.
Paid door- to -door with 30 minuets a day deducted for travel.
**Call out rota is currently 1 week in every 6-8 weeks
Call out is paid at £100 for the weeks cover, this is worked out as £10 per day Monday – Friday and £25 per day Saturday and Sunday.
If you get a call out it is paid at £40 for the first hour and then time and a half for every hour after.**
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and fault-find gas appliances and heating systems.
- Attend breakdowns, diagnose issues, and perform timely, cost-effective repairs.
- Conduct safety checks and identify required works to meet regulations.
- Liaise with tenants, clients, and management to ensure smooth job completion.
- Actively identify and quote for additional works.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Perform site/vehicle audits and attend engineer meetings.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Recognised gas apprenticeship and Commercial Gas Certificates (ACS): CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, CDGA1, CIGA1, TPCP1, TPCP1A.
- Proven experience in the commercial gas sector, including fault finding, servicing, and repairs.
- Knowledge of test equipment, including multi-meters.
- Flexible and willing to travel across the UK and work additional hours if required.
- Full UK driving licenceÂ
- Eligable to pass a DBS check
