Location: Stoke
Salary: £50,(Apply online only) Per Annum 

Shifts:Monday to Friday

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of HGVs and trailers to the highest standards. You will work with a dynamic team in a commercial workshop environment, with plenty of opportunities to progress in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standards
  • Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently and accurately
  • Attend disabled vehicles at the roadside or customer premises
  • Handle all vehicles carefully, ensuring safety protocols are followed
  • Liaise with parts department to obtain necessary components
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness within the workshop
  • Complete job cards, service sheets, and clocking accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations
  • Attend regular training sessions to stay current on product knowledge

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role in a commercial workshop
  • Technical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent) or significant experience in vehicle repairs and maintenance
  • Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

Desirable but not Essential:

  • HGV and PSV Licence
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and repair systems
