Mechanical/Electrical Fitter Falkirk Permanent
A leading Engineering business is currently recruiting for a Mechanical/Electrical Fitter to be based at their site in Falkirk.
As fitter you will provide investigation, electrical and mechanical repair of motors at their service centre. You will ensure that work is achieved to the required standards to time, cost and customer satisfaction. Working with all types of LV and HV motors and associated equipment such as pumps and other rotating machinery.
You will have a good engineering background and previously worked on pumps/motors/generators or similar rotating machinery. You will be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and have good attention to detail and organisational skills. A recognised Electrical or Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or time served experience is required. Good knowledge of health and safety requirements.
The role is working Monday to Friday. This is Permanent role which offers hourly rate of between 14.24 - 21/hr (depending on experience) plus opportunity for overtime.
