Jenson Fisher have been engaged on an exclusive basis by an expanding organisation based in South Lanarkshire to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit a good all-rounder who would like to be part of a small friendly team with a great company! Hybrid working can also be offered for the successful candidate. This is an exciting and fast-paced role which offers excellent career progression.The main duties:

Reporting to directors and liaising with Company accountants (UK & EU)
Preparing management accounts
Financial statements and reporting
Bank reconciliation
Processing payments
Credit control duties
Month end duties
Assisting with year end audit

Requirements:

Preparation of management accounts is essential
All round finance skills
Extremely driven
Proactive attitude and outcome focused
Highly proficient in Excel
Proficient in all Microsoft applications, Sage & Xero
Strong team player
