  • Ensure the calibration system is in adherence to the systems or customer specific requirements.
  • Carry out product measurements using the coordinate measurement machine (CMM) and laser scanner.
  • Ensure that all reports are formatted to requirements analysis completed prior to distribution.
  • Ensure adherence to internal timing plans for measurement programs.
  • Coach and guide others on the correct use of gauging in the manufacturing environment.
  • Coordinate measurement systems analysis and statistical process control studies.
Metrology Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Degree, HND or HNC in an engineering or technical discipline.
  • Works with precision and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in the use of coordinate measurement machines (CMM) and the use of PCDIMS (or similar) software.
  • Experience with optical measurement.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with problem solving techniques.
  • Minimum 2 years’ service in a similar role.
