Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hydrovac Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate and maintain our hydrovac equipment, performing a variety of excavation and waste extraction tasks. This role is essential in ensuring efficient and safe operations on various projects throughout Scotland.
Key Responsibilities:

? ?Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
? ?Perform non-destructive excavation and trenching for various utilities.
? ?Maintain equipment, ensuring it is clean, operational, and ready for daily use.
? ?Adhere to all safety guidelines and standards, ensuring a safe working environment.
? ?Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with clients and supervisors.
? ?Accurately complete and submit job-related paperwork, documentation, and reports.
? ?Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues with equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

? ?Proven experience as a Hydrovac Operator or a similar role.
? ?Valid and clean driving license Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV), with a preference for Class 2 or higher.
? ??Cpc : certificate of professional competence
? ??Cscs: construction skill certification scheme card
? ?Strong understanding of hydrovac operations and safety protocols.
? ?Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
? ?Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
? ?Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
