I am currently recruiting a site engineer for a leading civils contractor. They are looking to on-board a site engineer to manage the engineering of an on-going civils and groundwork package being delivered for a valued client. The scope of works you will be overseeing will include earthworks, drainage and ducting.
Site engineer responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying.
- Producing and recording As-built surveys.
- Quality assurance checks.
- ITPs.
- Record keeping.
- Liaising with main contractor and other subcontractors on site.
- Health and safety compliance.
- Reading drawings.
- Reporting to project manager.
Site engineer requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- CSCS card.
- Diploma or degree in civil engineering or surveying.
- SSSTS/SMSTS - Desirable.
- Proficient with GPS.
- Proficient with AutoCAD.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous experience with groundwork, drainage, earthworks, utilities.
