JOB SUMMARY:  The role provides support for the day-to-day financial management across two sites.  The Finance Analyst will act as a business partner, providing timely support, guidance, and business analytics to enable more rounded actions and to support continuous improvement and operations excellence across Operations, R&D, Commercial & Projects. 

  • Support R&D Projects
  • Manage projects across the company, ensuring compliance against IFRS 15
  • Management & gathering of business analytics across Operations, supporting leaders in their drive to measure against standards
  • Support rolling monthly forecasts of variance
  • Ensure reporting deadlines on the monthly cycle are hit, in a compliant and documented manner
  • Support the Assistant Controller with the annual budget process for the factory operations
  • Business partner to the Commercial Director to drive the reporting cycle across revenue & standard margin, using the latest business analytics tools, such as Power BI
  • Support Payroll process, ensuring robust process controls within our current outsourced models.
  • Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the accounting and financial reporting
  • Support cross-functional efforts with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, HR and others to drive efficiency and effectiveness in the organization through LEAN processes
  • Maintain relationships with colleagues and explore and share best practices
  • Ownership of continuous development across finance, in particular supporting supply chain across vendor management, material master management & inventory reconciliation

CRITERIA:

  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a financial role, post qualification
  • Experience with financial management in manufacturing &/or working knowledge of project accounting on long term contracts is preferred
  • Experience with financial statement preparation and related audits for statutory reporting highly preferred
  • Experience with SAP as an ERP system & Power BI as a business analytics tool
  • A must/pre-requisite is superior excel modelling skills
