Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client in Larne who are currently looking for an experienced Customs Administrator to join their team based in Larne.

Duties will include

  • Preparation of required documents and information for UK and ROI Customs authorities.
  • Input of data into customs systems to include Irish Revenue AIS/AES, Chief, CDS & TSS (Trader Support Service)
  • Meeting our customers' requirements for safe and efficient transport of their goods according to operating procedures and statutory requirements.
  • Tracking trailer movements and keeping our operations team and customers updated.


Criteria

  • Applicants must have previous experience working within a customs team
  • CDS Import/ Export: 1 year (required)
  • Irish Revenue AIS / AES: 1 year (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong problem solving problems, effective multi-tasker with strong attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment where customer service is key.
  • High level IT skills are essential to this position
  • Flexible, adaptable approach


Details of role

  • Role will be working Monday to Friday
  • Occasional Sunday (usually 1 in 5), Friday will be your 2nd day off that week so you can enjoy a longer weekend the following week!
  • 42.5 hours a week - Shift rotation between hours of 6am to 8pm.
