My client is looking for a Conveyancer with 1+ years PQE to join their team in Launceston, Cornwall.

As a Conveyancing Fee Earner, you will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of their cases while working collaboratively within a supportive team.

Key Accountabilities:

• Managing your own caseload of conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and lease extensions.• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless transaction process.• Preparing and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, title deeds, and searches.• Advising clients on legal aspects of the conveyancing process, ensuring they are fully informed throughout.• Conducting due diligence, including title investigations and resolving any issues that arise.• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including anti-money laundering checks.• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records.• Contributing to the development of the department by maintaining high standards of client care and fostering strong relationships

Requirements

• Qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Legal Executive (CILEx)• Experience in high-value or complex property transactions• Proven experience managing a conveyancing caseload independently.• Sound knowledge of UK residential and commercial property law.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.• Proficient in using case management systems and IT software.• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Commercial property experience (desirable)
