Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver in Launceston who can be trained up to also operate the other Plant machinery onsite. Operative to join a busy material transfer station in Launceston.
Key responsibilities: 路 Efficiently loading materials into containers or vehicles for transport and unloading incoming materials. 路 Safely operating mobile plant, including cleaning and maintenance of equipment and ensuring it is used correctly. 路 Managing traffic, such as guiding tipping vehicles. 路 Operate the weighbridge and accurately record the weight and other specified details of vehicles both entering and leaving the site. 路 Ensuring you follow all health and safety regulations. 路 Co-operating with other employees to comply with site permits, all applicable legislation and policies and procedures. 路 Co-operating directly with customers and members of the public, providing excellent customer service.
Requirements: 路 Front loader or 360 excavator license preferable 路 Counterbalance forklift license. 路 Great communication and customer service skills 路 Team player 路 Expected to provide cover for annual leave and help cover weekends. 路 Prior waste / recycling or similar process environment highly advantageous.
