Mechanical Engineer

Location: Launceston

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum with overtime (Depending on experience)

The Role

The company are excited to advertise a position for a mechanical engineer to join their expanding team of highly skilled engineers to work on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.

This is a part workshop part mobile role, and you be responsible for repairing, diagnosing faults, and performing maintenance of Transport Fridges, Tail lifts, Trailers and Vehicles. Including being part of an on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Diagnosing faults and performing repairs
  • Working in a fast-paced environment
  • Working at height
  • Liaising with Customers and suppliers
  • Reporting to the Mobile Services Manager

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven track record in engineering and fault finding
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work at height
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
  • F Gas certificate preferred although training can be provided
  • Able to work under own initiative or as part of a team
