Mechanical Engineer
Location: Launceston
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum with overtime (Depending on experience)
The Role
The company are excited to advertise a position for a mechanical engineer to join their expanding team of highly skilled engineers to work on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.
This is a part workshop part mobile role, and you be responsible for repairing, diagnosing faults, and performing maintenance of Transport Fridges, Tail lifts, Trailers and Vehicles. Including being part of an on-call rota.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment
- Diagnosing faults and performing repairs
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Working at height
- Liaising with Customers and suppliers
- Reporting to the Mobile Services Manager
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven track record in engineering and fault finding
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work at height
- Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
- F Gas certificate preferred although training can be provided
- Able to work under own initiative or as part of a team
