We have a temporary role available at DS Smith, PL15 9HN. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in production and manufacturing environments, and who thrives on night shifts.
Role: Production OperativeLocation: Launceston, DS Smith, PL15 9HNRate: £16.92 per hour (Basic), £25.38 per hour (Overtime - 1.5 rate only)Contract Length: TemporaryShift Patterns: Weekend night shifts -Friday: 21:00 - 06:00Saturday/Sunday: 18:00 - 06:00
Key Responsibilities:- Operate machinery and equipment in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Follow Standard Safe Operating Procedures (SSOW) and UK Health and Safety legislation.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and Standard Safe Operating Procedures (SSOW).
- Forklift Truck (FLT) Licence preferred (additional pay rate applicable). Training can be provided if necessary.
