The Role
- Plan and Coordinate Transport Operations: Use your expertise to schedule routes, allocate resources, and ensure efficient delivery of goods
- Work with Transport Management Software: Experience with planning and scheduling software is essential to streamline operations and maintain accuracy
- Driver Management: supporting drivers, ensuring they comply with current legislation and high company standards
- Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively handle any logistical challenges to keep operations running smoothly and at optimum levels.
- Customer and Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to provide first class service and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Transport Planning Expertise: Experience in transport planning and scheduling is essential
- Fleet are planned as trampers, due to the wide customer base who have multiple requirements. Planning experience in this environment would be highly advantageous.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using transport management/planning software
- Our clients’ contracts are based on performance measures, which must be hit, but there are earnings targets which must be exceeded to planning efficiency and rate.
