Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver

BMW Hams Hall is seeking an experienced and motivated Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with one of the world's leading automotive manufacturers.

Location: Hams Hall - Coleshill.

The rates of pay are:
- AM Shift, £13.66 per hour
- PM Shift, £15.70 per hour
- Nights, £18.17 per hour

This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, Monday to Friday and the hours of work are:
- 6am to 1:30pm
- 1:30pm to 9pm
- 9pm to 6am
- 6am to 4pm

Your Time at Work

As a Counterbalance Driver, your duties include:

- Operate a forklift truck in a safe and efficient manner to move raw materials, finished goods, and other products within the facility
- Load and unload materials from vehicles and place them in designated storage areas
- Conduct daily safety inspections of the forklift truck and report any malfunctions or safety issues to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved and report any discrepancies to the supervisor
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment and following safe lifting practices
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Our Perfect Worker

Our Perfect Candidate will have:

- Forklift Truck license that has been issued or refreshed within the last 3 years and accredited by either RTITB or ITSSAR
- Experience operating a forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment of at least 6 months
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including mornings, afternoons and nights, as required
