Job Role: Management Accountant

Contract Length: 14 months (Hybrid working - 3 days on site)
Pay Rate: 400 per day via Umbrella inside IR35

Role Overview:
As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive accounting support, ensuring accuracy in financial information and executing monthly accounting processes. Your insights and analysis will directly contribute to effective decision-making and help drive the business forward towards its strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute month-end accounting processes and maintain the integrity of financial information.
- Deliver high-quality reporting and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering financial performance insights directly to the business.
- Collaborate with teams across the organisation to ensure effective financial reporting support.
- Prepare forecast updates and provide effective narrative to budget holders.
- Ensure compliance with controls and escalate any deviations.
- Support the external audit process and provide accurate responses to queries.
- Conduct ad-hoc training to promote financial literacy and understanding.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in management accounting and financial planning.
- Familiarity with S/4 HANA is preferred.
- Business-facing experience, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of governance, risk, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Customer service-oriented.
- Graduate level education or equivalent professional experience
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) or working towards one of these qualifications.
