Key Responsibilities - What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing client accounts and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing year-end accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Providing accounting advice and support to clients
  • Overseeing workflow, budgeting, and planning for client accounts
  • Collaborating closely with Managers and Partners to meet client expectations and deadlines
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members to aid in their professional development
  • Assisting with ad hoc accounting tasks as required
Key Requirements - Is This Role for You?

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following essential criteria:

  • ACA, ACCA qualified or QBE with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a practice environment
  • Strong technical accounting skills and an understanding of UK tax regulations
  • Experience working with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and strong organisational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines efficiently
