• Building and maintaining client relationships, acting as a key point of contact
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements for a variety of businesses, including limited companies, groups, charities, and FCA-regulated clients
• Overseeing VAT returns, management accounts, and bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Reviewing the work of junior staff, offering guidance and support to develop their skills
• Identifying tax planning opportunities when preparing company accounts
• Advising clients on accounting software and systems, with a focus on Xero
• Spotting opportunities to introduce additional services to clients, supporting their wider business needs
• Ensuring jobs are completed within budgeted hours and deadlines

• ACA or ACCA qualified with substantial experience in an accountancy practice
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• In-depth understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities

• £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
