Freelance Design Manager - Severn Trent Water - Warwickshire
Are you an experienced Design Manager with a proven track record of delivering successful projects for Severn Trent Water?
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Design Manager to work on a freelance basis for a variety of projects based in Warwickshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading water company on essential water infrastructure projects. Prior experience working directly with Severn Trent Water is essential for this role.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading and managing the design process for water infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Overseeing the work of designers, engineers, and other design team members.
- Ensuring designs are compliant with Severn Trent Water's specifications and industry standards.
- Managing budgets, resources, and timelines for design activities.
- Liaising with project managers, construction teams, and other stakeholders.
- Ensuring designs are optimized for cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience as a Design Manager in the water industry, with demonstrable experience working directly with Severn Trent Water.
- A strong understanding of water infrastructure design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
- Ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
