Are you an experienced IFA administrator looking for a position with a leading firm? Our client is a successful, multi-site company based in Leamington Spa, specialising in the financial planning sector. They are now looking to acquire the services of a Senior IFA Administrator reporting directly to the Financial Services Office Manager, with the role of providing both clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the business. This is an excellent opportunity, which would suit an individual who is a self-starter, hard-working and resilient looking to work in a varied, dynamic environment, offering the scope for credible career development. Main Responsibilities:
  • Managing own workflow to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently with deadlines met.
  • Create and maintain filing systems/client files.
  • Arrange meetings/book appointments.
  • Update and maintain the firm’s diary system, records, and registers.
  • Requesting quotes/comparisons as requested by advisers.
  • Retrieving policy information from providers via phone or websites.
  • Submitting new business.
  • Liaising with product providers as and when necessary.
  • Assisting advisers in providing all required information to the paraplanner to create a suitability report.
  • Assisting advisers to provide all required information for client meetings.
  • Type and word-process various documents and electronic information.
  • Create financial reports using spreadsheets.
  • Manage, organise, and update relevant data using database applications.
  • Carry out any other duties as required by the Financial Services Office Manager.
  • General office duties including filing, shredding, photocopying, and binding.
  • Checking the accuracy of team member's work and coordinating training for team members where required.
 Key Skills & Experience:
  • Experience working in an IFA or Wealth Management practice.
  • Knowledge of using IO (Intelligent Office client database).
  • Ideally the candidate will be studying towards the certificate or diploma in Financial Services.
  • Great attention to detail and process orientated.
  • Professional and positive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with an excellent standard of written and verbal communication.
 Additional Information:
  • On-site Monday – Friday – 9am – 5pm (with an early finish on Fridays at 4pm), and half an hour lunch.
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing with length of service.
