Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
- Transport materials around the warehouse and storage areas.
- Organize and maintain stock levels, ensuring materials are stored safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance on forklift trucks to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Assist with inventory control by keeping accurate records of stock movements.
- Support other warehouse activities, such as picking, packing, and order preparation, as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) license (Counterbalance or Reach).
- Proven experience in operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when required.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
