Job Title: Pre-Delivery Engineer (CNC Machines)

Location:Leamington

Salary: 33K - 37K

Job Type:Full-Time

Start: Immediate

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth pre-delivery testing and commissioning of CNC machines.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and control panel layouts.
• Wire and configure control panels, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
• Conduct functional tests, troubleshoot issues, and address any technical challenges.
• Provide technical support to customers during machine installation and setup.
• Collaborate with design engineers to improve machine performance and reliability.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of CNC machines, including setup, calibration, and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control panel diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Skills or Qualifications for the role:

• Mechanical fitting skills: essential
• Electrical fitting skills: essential
• Must be able to read electrical drawings
• IT literacy: essential
• Knowledge of CNC Machine Tool Controls: Strongly preferred
