Position: Customer Service Advisor (Credit Control Team)

Salary: £12 - £13.30

Contract: Temporary up until Feb

Location: Leamington Spa, CV34

Working Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm, office based only

We are seeking proactive Customer Service Advisor to join our client’s team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in customer service and a good understanding of credits and debits. The position is highly phone-based, focusing on assisting customers with payment queries and ensuring efficient credit control processes.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Handle a high volume of phone calls to assist customers with payment queries and issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payments, and account adjustments.
  • Work closely with the credit controllers team to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations during customer interactions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, aiming to resolve queries or direct the customer on the first call where possible.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service and phone communication skills.
  • Understanding of credits and debits.
  • Experience in a credit control or customer service role is highly desirable.
  • Ability to handle pressurised situations and high call volumes with professionalism.
  • Proficient in using financial software and tools for account management.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
