Your new companyJoin Our Team as a Supply Nursery Practitioner in South Warwickshire!Hays Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated nursery practitioners to support nurseries across South Warwickshire on a supply basis. Enjoy flexible working hours that fit around your schedule, with opportunities for both temporary and permanent positions.

Your new role

  • Collaborate with nursery staff:Work alongside other nursery staff to provide high-quality care for children aged 0-4.
  • Engage in Play and Learning:Encourage children to participate in age-appropriate play and educational activities, using a child-led approach to foster their development.
  • Tailor Activities:Adapt activities to meet the individual needs and interests of each child, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment.
  • Daily Care Routines:Assist with meal times, nap times, and toileting, ensuring that all children are safe and well-cared for throughout the day.
  • Monitor Development:Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents and colleagues to support each child's growth.
  • Safeguarding:Ensure the safety and well-being of all children, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
  • Flexible Shifts:Work on a shift basis with hours varying from 8 AM to 6 PM, providing coverage as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Recent and referencable experience in childcare or school settings within the last 3 years. (voluntary or paid basis)
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A calm and understanding approach to working with children.
