Your new companyYour new job is at a school on the outskirts of Leamington Spa. This role is 8.30-15.30, Monday to Friday. The school is easily accessible from Warwick and Kenilworth. This role is a long-term role, supporting as a class Teaching Assistant within KS2.

Your new roleWithin your new role, you will be assisting the class teacher, and supporting a class of Year 3 pupils. The role will be classroom based, helping to ensure the children are engaged well with the learning set out for them, you will be expected to work to follow the teachers' plan, and be able to work on your own initiative within the day.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this position, you will need

  • At least 40 days of school-based experience within the last two years.
  • Experience and knowledge of implementing the KS2 curriculum.
  • Strong behaviour management skills, happy to support 1-1 where necessary.
  • Strong English writing and language skills.
  • Flexible and supportive towards the children's needs.
  • Able to work to your initiative throughout the day and assist the class teacher whenever needed.
