About the Role

Are you a skilled technician with a passion for robotics and automation? Join a leading company in the manufacturing sector, known for its innovative solutions and commitment to excellence. This role predominantly involves the assembly of robotics cells and the containment areas within which assembly robots will operate. The automation team is expanding, and we are looking for motivated individuals to join this dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and wire electrical panels according to detailed electrical drawings.
  • Perform bench fitting tasks such as drilling, tapping, and general assembly.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet project deadlines.
  • Carry out light fabrication work, including modifying guarding and safety fences.
  • Build, assemble, and modify turnkey projects, including mechanical and electrical systems, for Leamington installations (all work based locally, no travel required).

Who We're Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently when needed.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Essential Skills or Qualifications:

  • Experience working from electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficient with hand and power tools.
  • Experience in bench fitting, assembly, and fabrication (drilling, tapping, etc.).
  • Electrical panel building or related experience preferred.
  • Apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Desirable Skills or Qualifications:

  • Experience with industrial robots and cobots.
  • Knowledge of safety access interlocks and robotic cell safety.
