Tecman Speciality Materials Ltd is a rapidly growing manufacturing SME, focused on end-to-end support of its customers from engineering and technical support to high volume manufacturing. Predominant industries are both Wind Energy and Automotive with a particular focus on the rapidly evolving EV market. Working directly with OEM's we become a trusted advisor to all functions supporting our customers to lead in their field.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the financial function.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist with strong relevant experience will be considered
  • Relevant experience in the manufacturing industry would be highly beneficial
  • A degree would be a distinct advantage
  • High level of IT Literacy
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Resides within a commutable distance of Leamington Spa

What will your role look like?

Accounting

  • Overall responsibility of the accounting function
  • Ensuring the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including statutory accounting and tax issues.
  • Plan and set-up payments.
  • Preparing MMAs.
  • Prepare Year End Accounts and liaise with the external accountants.
  • Supervising and developing Accounts team

Financial Management

  • Developing credit control strategies
  • Managing cash flow to provide sufficient working capital
  • Managing grants and other fundings
  • Working with the Finance Director on setting budgets and financial goals, and working with all senior managers to keep the business on track to achieve the goals
  • Providing insights on the financial performance and health of the organisation.
  • Working with other teams to identify cost reduction, revenue generating, process improvement opportunities, and to support them in the exploration of those opportunities
  • Ensuring that Financial Policies and Procedures are adhered to
  • Supporting the Finance Director in developing financial models
  • Identifying Financial risks and suggesting mitigation measures

ERP system

  • General administration
  • Suggesting efficient and effective business processes and controls to adapt to changes in the business
