GI Group are recruiting 7.5 Tonne drivers required for a position with our well-established client in Warwick. NEW PASS DRIVERS ACCEPTED.
We have a prestigious company that has operated in the area for over many years. The Driver will be placed on a temporary contract for a 6 week period between now and Christmas. The shift pattern consists of Monday to Friday with 5AM start.
The Role:
Undertaking deliveries Nationally. Handball is to be expected pushing trolleys and this position may include some multi-drop runs (Up to 10 per shift). This is a temporary transfer position and training will be provided on the job. The driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.
The Perfect Candidate:
Will hold a Clean Full UK Driving Licence
Will hold a valid CPC and Tachograph
Previous HGV work experience is preferred, but not essential
Will be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
Will be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.
Will have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential.
