Contract Type: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)
Location: CV32 7NQ (working onsite)
Hours: 38hpw (Monday- Thursday 08:00-17:00 and Friday 08:00-12:00)

Job Role:
- Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
- Support the purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations
- Prepare reports and updates as and when required
- Prepare and raise purchase orders and order schedules
- Build, maintain and manage supplier relationships and keep up good communications
- Ensure that a professional and consistent approach is taken in relation to all supplier relationships
- To work within the guidelines of the companys health and safety policy.
- To be flexible, willing and have a can-do attitude
- Be civil, courteous, and co-operative to colleagues, management, and suppliers.
Skills and experience required:
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with an integrated Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system would be beneficial but not essential
- Good communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. Tenacious but pragmatic.
- Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with staff, Management, and suppliers
- Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets
- Be capable of working independently as well as within a team
- Excellent keyboard skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- A flexible and positive attitude.
- Procurement department experience highly desirable.
