Our client is a well-established, leading Raised Access Flooring business and due to continued growth, they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to help carry out new and on-going projects across the Warwickshire and surrounding areas.

This is a permanent role, starting asap.

The Role:

Works on office, leisure, commercial, government, and local authority buildings.

Work with both sub-contractors and main contractors.

Managing several contracts at any one time with values up to 1 million pounds.

Liaise and work closely with the Contract Management team to receive full contract documentation.

Ensure all matters in relation to the tender are understood, including contract terms and conditions.

Responsible for procurement and variation of works.

Responsible for applications for payment and awarding works to sub-contractors

Monitor costs for the project including preliminaries, design fees, utility fees, subcontract, and materials.

Produce detailed quarterly forecasts and cashflows.

Attend regular internal/external project meetings. Attend regular subcontract meetings.

Report monthly cost value reconciliation.

As the project progresses, value and agree payment in respect of variations.

Skills\Experience:

3-5 years relevant experience.

Relevant Degree or HNC.

Experience of working in a close team and seeing projects thorough to completion.
